David Li is Director of Intel Capital China.  He focuses on Intel's investment activities in China.  Intel Capital is the strategic investment arm of Intel Corporation.  Since its inception, Intel Capital has invested over US$9 billion in more than 1,000 companies worldwide
David joined Intel Capital in 2008.  Prior to Intel Capital, he was Managing Director of ChinaVest responsible for its venture capital investments and portfolio company management for five years.  He also served as CFO of Great Wall Technology Company, a Hong Kong H-share listed leading China IT company.  Prior to his VC and CFO experiences, David was in the investment banking division at CS First Boston (formerly Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette) in New York, responsible for corporate finance, M&A and merchant banking transactions.  David was also a management consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton advising domestic and multinational clients on corporate strategies, operational management and business development.
David holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, an MA in Molecular Biology from Columbia University and a BA in Biochemistry from Beijing University.
