Mr. Yuanliang Qiu (Leon) is a multi-faceted capital markets expert and a pioneer in the world’s fastest growing and most exciting financial market. As a capital markets attorney, CPA and investment banker, Qiu has a unique perspective on Chinese financial markets with a background in private equity, IPOs, secondary market financings, fund management, debt securities, M&A, RTOs, corporate restructuring and bankruptcy.

A senior partner of Beijing Dacheng Law Office, a leading law firm in the PRC capital markets arena, Qiu holds a doctorate from the renowned Peking University Law School and is a visiting scholar of the Chicago-Kent College of Law. Recently, Qiu was chosen as a candidate of member of the China Securities Regulatory Commission’s (CSRC) first Listings Review Committee for the newly formed Shenzhen Growth Enterprise Market. Qiu also acts as the China legal counsel of the Korean Stock Exchange.

Qiu has hands-on experience in the corporate and financial services arena. As such, Qiu has worked for a large manufacturing enterprise, a leading high-tech company and a national securities firm in the fields of corporate finance, management and investment banking. Qiu served as Chief Counsel for Peking University Weiming Biotech Group, Manager of Investment Banking and Chief of Legal Affairs at China Guotai Securities (North China).
