Hang Xu joined SAIF in May 2007 as a Partner.

Prior to joining SAIF, Mr. Xu was Managing Director and head of Greater China investments at TVG Capital Partners, a telecom, media and technology focused private equity firm. 

Before TVG, Mr. Xu served as CFO of Bitfone Corporation (acquired by HP) and LinkAir Communications, Vice President at The Carlyle Group's Asia Buyout Fund, Senior Investment Officer at Emerging Markets Partnership and Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs & Co. 

He holds a BA Degree in Math/Economics from Wesleyan University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
