Wang is a Partner primarily focused on the Asian portfolio. He joined Adams Street Partners initially in the London office to research the Asian markets and has been involved in formulating Adams Street’s private equity fund investment strategy for Asia. He opened Adams Street Partners’ Singapore office in 2006 and is responsible for managing relationships with several of Adams Street’s managers including Affinity, CDH, ChrysCapital, Trustbridge and Tripod. Wang is a member of the Primary Investment Committee.

Wang sits on advisory boards for 13 private equity firms within the Adams Street Partners portfolio.

Prior to joining the Firm in 1999, he was a Manager in the Corporate Finance Division of Arthur Andersen LLP, where he provided advisory services to the South East Asia mergers and acquisitions and venture capital investment areas. In addition, he spent about three years as an Investment Manager at Nikko Capital Singapore, a direct investment firm. Prior to that, he was an Investment Officer with Indosuez Asset Management Singapore, where he managed mutual fund investments in the Asian equity markets.

Wang is a Malaysian native with permanent residency in Singapore and the United Kingdom. He is fluent in English, Malay and Mandarin, as well as two Chinese dialects, Hakka and Cantonese.

Wang is a member of the United Kingdom Society of Investment Professionals,the CFA Institute, the BVCA, the EVCA and the NVCA.
