With the nationality of Singapore, Neo Chee Beng became a senior academician of British royal CFA in 1992. Meanwhile, he also gained the certificate of Singaporean CFA.

Successively, he worked in Ernst & Young, Moores Rowland etc where he accumulated rich experience in finance.

In 1989, he joined Singapore Cycle and Carriage Group, a listed company with the annual turnover reaching RMB1.2B and began to engage in investment business.

After joining Vertex Venture Holdings Ltd., he has been responsible for investment business in mainland China and got understanding in China market. In the past five years, he supervised nearly 10 investment projects on behalf of Vertex with the amount invested up to US$80M. Those projects are evenly distributed in traditional industry and hi-tech industry. Some of them are preparing for files to debut on securities market.
