Jenny Lee is a Managing Partner at GGV Capital and works on cross border TMT deals with primary responsibility for China. Jenny’s areas of focus are on Software/Business Services and Internet/Digital Media companies. Jenny led GGV’s investments and serves on the Board of hiSoft (NASDAQ: HSFT), 21vianet, China Talent Group (CTG), Duowan(YY), 7k7k, Arcas and UCWeb, and is actively involved in SinoSun, Buddy Media, Glu Mobile and Wild Tangent.
Jenny started her VC career at JAFCO Asia and led investments in the mobile, internet and technology services sector, including hiSoft (NASDAQ: HSFT), BCD (Nasdaq: BCDS) and Pollex Mobile (Acquired by MTK).
Prior to her switch to venture capital, Jenny started at Singapore Technologies Aerospace and enjoyed working on fighter jets upgrade programs and discussing technologies and trends with fighter pilots and aircraft/electronics engineers.
Jenny holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and graduated with a Masters in Engineering from Cornell University and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering also from Cornell University. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys golf, outdoor activities, testing out new gadgets and hanging out with entrepreneurs.
