Mr. Wang joined CDH Ventures as managing director in 2005.

 

He graduated from Jinlin University of Technology in 1984 with a degree in management engineering, and acted as dean of Jilin University of Technology. Prior to that, he worked at Hainan Development and Construction Corporation and Hainan Xiugang Industrial Development Co., Ltd. successively in 1988, and acted as deputy general manager of Tianjin Land Group Limited in 1990. He joined Hainan Agro Hi-tech Investment & Development Co. Ltd. (predecessor of Beijing Vantone Industrial Co., Ltd.) as chairman and general manager in 1991, and became vice chairman of Vantone Industrial Co., Ltd. and president for Vantone (US) two years later. In 1996, he was elected honorary chairman, executive officer and president of Vantone International Group, and investment director of IDG Technology Venture Investment (IDGVC Partners).
