Based in Shanghai, Mr. Lu joined the company from the very beginning in early 2000, and helped invest and manage more than a dozen portfolio companies in the areas of communications, software, and semiconductor in China. He has substantial experience in the mobile Internet industry and has successfully assisted several start-up companies, including Linktone and Power Genius. Mr. Lu was promoted as Partner in 2005 owing to good performance and successful exits. Prior to this, Mr. Lu served as a Strategic Controller of DˇLong, a privately owned conglomerate, responsible for the groupˇs strategic investments, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Lu had also been with GEC ALSTHOM and Elf Atochem as Manager of Business Development and Project Management, respectively, for six years. Mr. Lu started his career as an engineer in a governmental research institute in 1991.

He holds a Bachelor of Science from Nanjing University and a Master of Business Administration from China Europe International Business School.
